PTRC libraries can provide additional resources detailing the business planning process, licensing, and marketing of inventions. The U.S. Small Business Administration provides an insightful guide entitled 10 Steps to Start Your Business. In addition, independent inventors and entrepreneurs should be beware of fraudulent invention promotion firms.
